| I have wondered the same thing. A couple years ago I priced out a new tractor, took the brochure home, read it and got to wondering "What will this tractor do that the one I got won't?" Nothing, just more creature comforts for me that I don't really need. The tractor I have has A/C air ride seat, radio. Just don't see the need in anymore. Did the samething when the new style Dodge trucks came out, read the brochure priced it and wondered what does it do better than the one I got, again nothing. So I have the same tractor and truck. Now the depreciation has run out on them but I haven't had any trouble finding something to replace them on the tax dep. sheet. For me, it jsut seems unless you are growing or changing operations that there comes a time when you got what you need. Some guys prefer to trade rather than repair, others the opposite. To each his own. | |
