Nevada, Iowa | Well, it's more accurate to say that it never levels out, something is always requiring a payment whether it be land, equipment, buildings and bins, etc. When that stops, you're dead or retired.
Don't get me wrong, this is not a "wants" operation, its a "needs" operation. There is no new iron disease here. But I don't care how handy you are, you can not farm on scale with junk forever. The eighties taught me that too. If you don't rebuild well or update occasionally, that critter can bite. | |
