JC STONE - 9/14/2017 06:36 Don't forget free will and choice. The fish chose to take the bait and the fisherman chose to reel him in. As in the markets , thousands of choices are made everyday. Just thinking if we are all free to make these choices how can we box it all up and call it nothing other than random choices. Can there be a structure created out of random choices?

Absolutely.  The market is not random, and there are all sorts of structure.  If fact, the masters of the market, the people that "paint the chart", know you better than you do, and they play you like a fiddle.  How many free thinkers do you know JC?  What did you do this morning that was unusual?  Did you get up this morning and run naked around the yard, stopping to smell the flowers in the yard, then decide to pick a dandelion head and chew on it while kicking the cat on the way in the door, which you left open?  No.  You likely did what you always do.  You followed your conditioning, your preset guidance program that got you here, and will keep you here.  We are not generally free thinkers.  We are prisoners caged in by our own restrictive thoughts, habits, and conditioning that was most likely handed down by others who blindly accepted those ideas, and now we blindly accepted without question. The true free thinkers are people that tear down those believes, question everything, do not let somebody else's garbage ideas contain them.  Did that fish make a choice to take that bait, or was it just instinct?  It's preprogrammed conditioning?  Why is it that you can find certain fish in certain areas, given a certain context, everywhere?  Do they get on fish facebook and say, "Lets all go to the back of the coves and chase the schooling shad today".  No.  They are following a preset program.  Humans have other levels of mental ability including self image.   But unless something major changes our routine, we will go about making the exact same decisions today as we did yesterday, doing the exact same things as we always do, just like the fish. Once in a while, we are forced to change, and the older we get, the more making that change, or breaking those habits is.  We are afraid to change...do things differently, think differently because we might be wrong, or,...we might look like a fool, so we back away from what are could be great ideas, leaving them for somebody else to discover....

Take Care
