This Is the way I understood 1891 post is that they need a little over a 100lbs of potash which is 0-0-62 for one 40 b./a crop to get a second 40/a soybean crop they need the second 100lbs of 0-0-62 which would make sense if the second crop yield as high as the first . The problem is I doubt they fertilize for 40b/a on the double crop acres, because the second crop doesn't yield as high.
