Red River Valley | South America mainly Brazil has almost as much NON-rainforest land ( cerrado / Savannah ) yet to develop as the US has total farm land in production ( maybe more) so yes they can keep on getting bigger and bigger and for the most part will.
Also keep in mind that they can double crop almost every acre of their ground.
My guess is the next big move by them will be into hogs, cattle, and dairy makes sense they will walk it out of the far reaches to the export market of China meats.
and to think they also get fertilizer with out having to truck it in.
They have land, labor and living expense that are well below 1/2 of ours.
over the long run that will have to be rectified MO
