NW Washington | Try to find someone who knows how to teach reading to tutor him a few times a week or as he needs it. Like maybe a retired teacher. The real key to learning is a good teacher who can work with the child. And you should be an good example and do some reading yourself.
My wife is a retired first and second grade teacher and she says that children don't all learn to read at the same time or rate. So be helpful, but also patient. | |
