Nwmo | Open carry is illegal in mo, they may have just passed a bill to change that but I don't think it has gone into effect yet. The main reason to conceal carry is most people freak out when they see a non uniformed person carry a gun in mall, grocery store etc. The other reason is if you are open carrying and something is going down you just made yourself target number one.
Concealed carrying is the great equalizer, if two people show up in the middle of no where and want to do you harm concealed carrying is your best chance at getting out alive. So that is how it applies to rural areas. | |
