| Not far from here some years ago a gal neglected to stop for a stop sign where a paved county road intersected a US highway. I her testimony reported in the paper she said, "Nobody stops for that sign." She got 20 years.
Listening on the scanner, county deputies often patrol the interstates and state highways, and even when a state patrol makes a stop, county deputies often go to it for backup.
