Have a lawyer get it amended so it won't go on your record.  With computers and internet these days, if you get another ticket or have a fender bender, even  if it isn't your fault it can affect your insurance premium, and credit card stuff.   It will cost you more now but in the long run it will  be worth it.

We've all been in those speed traps, on I-70 in Kansas it drops 10mph for about a mile, this is in the city limits of a town but the town is a mile away, the interstate didn't go through it when the road was put in, and there is usually an officer of the law sitting there.
