Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | I need some advice on how to handle a bad situation. My dad is 66 going on 86 years old. He is constantly making bad choices, forgetting things, and getting depressed. I could go on and on. Latest problem.. He sprayed the neighbors yard with ATV sprayer. Looks like he was trying to get rid of some Johnson grass. He was diagnosed with severe memory loss about five years ago. I think it is really multiple concussion syndrome. I used to yell and argue with him when he did this stuff. I don't want that to be the last time we talk one of these days. Plus that never seemed to help, just made him mad and more depressed. Most advise I get from friends don't take in account the whole farming family complexities. |
