Dearfield Co.
The interesting thing I find after going thru this myself is when people start talking about these kind of issues I always ask if a trip to a neurologist has been made or if the primary dr has prescribed aricept or any other drugs to assist. Most people are in denial and havent made that initial trip to the Dr for help

Even the smallest of memory issues need treated or checked for a baseline memory test for later references---------most of the dementia diseases start in the late 50s if you are lucky. There have been several in this area that have started in the late 40s and that is heart breaking to watch. With that being said Get dad to the specialist and help yourself more than him in many ways all the time prolonging his total decline--------------I can promise at the end of this when you read the death certificate and it reads Failure to thrive it will be a crushing blow to the caregivers as I know it was to us and we fought it hard with the best medical treatment we could find
