| I have not applied any fertilizer yet. I am on a 50/50 corn bean rotation. Running the numbers I would be more profitable( or lose less money) if I would not apply any fertilizer except nitrogen. I can probably yield 170 with just nitrogen, but if I push the fertilizer 210-230 is a real possibility under the right conditions. I am having a hard time not trying to produce the highest yield but it does't pencil out. Any ideas on how to solve my dilemma? Thanks, Dave | |
