Have to agree with you cyclone. My son lives and breathes seed and emergence. For a few years was doing standard deviation counts on ours and neighbors with different planters. The planters with all of the gizmos were much better. Agronomists has stated how all of our corn puts ears on at the same height, which is a product of seed placement in the spring. Still do not have as even of emergence as I would like to see, but our yields have been fantastic. I think yield wise it is a combination of small things we have changed, but believe the planter has a part in, just don’t know if it is 20% or 50%.
