central, Il.
You sound like you're set up just like I am. I plant bags of seed corn and have a 2 box seed tender for soybeans. This year I bought a 7000 lb 8 x 16' enclosed trailer with cargo doors on the back as I got tired of climbing in and out of the back of the pickup when I loaded the planter with corn. It worked out very well. I no longer have to worry about a storm coming up and tarping the seed in the back of the pickup. The other thing I do when I order the seed is try to get the smaller grade. 1760 finger pickup Deere and I adjust the population accordingly. I did get some 56lb./80,000 this year and had to go the other way with the population. 56lbs. is enough for me especially when you try to split it between 3 or 4 boxes. I prefer the smaller grade not only for weight but also when it gets cold like it is now, it seems to germinate better when it warms up.
