Subject: RE: Half of your weight

Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS

We had fertilizer in 50 lb bags, soybeans in 60 lb bags. Some livestock feed such as cottonseed meal was in 100 lb burlap bags (we called them toe sacks). Had an ole boy working for us one year who was almost too lazy to scratch an itch but he was strong. Bag of soys under each arm and he would toss them the length of an 18 ft truck bed. At the time I weighed about 150 lbs. I could handle two bags of fertilizer at a time. I don't do things like that anymore.
