South Central Manitoba
There are places obviously that are more free than Ontario or even Manitoba where I am but this problem is a global one and as others have pointed out its just a matter of time before government control and oppression reaches you wherever are. The best course of action I believe is to separate yourself as much as possible from Big Government, Big Tech, Big Media and Big Business. It starts with how you think and then you can take practical steps to create "socialism distancing" in your life. Help your kids in this way too.

This means that your church continues to gather regardless of restrictions. I'm part of a church that kept meeting even when the government said it's not allowed. (Farm shops can be multi purpose facilities) Our kids (younger than yours) hardly even know there is a pandemic. The church kept meeting, the school (home) never closed, their parents welcomed friends and family in the home, and we try to avoid making it the all consuming topic of conversation.
