northeastern Ohio | I had a bad case of it on my back when I was 16. Doctor prescribed some cream, but I could not get ahead of it. Doctor then prescribed some pills (Griseofulvin) and that cleared it up. The pills made my skin sensitive to the sun, and I remember getting a bad sunburn with splotches where the ringworm was.
The pills also had a warning about "fathering a child" after taking Griseofulvin due to the effect on sperm. I remember my mom reading that and making some comment to me at 16 years old!!! :) | |
