Subject: RE: Gleaner F and K

southern MN
40 cow dairy farm, might have doubled in size along the way. Lot of ground went into the hay barn or the silo, ear corn was popular by some, left a couple acres of beans and only a couple loads of excess corn.

Pretty common size machine through the 80s on real farms when they were sold, worked for some into the 2000s. Now we have gone from 80-120bu corn when they came out, to 120-200bu corn now and that is the huge difference on trying to keep a K working on a real farm.

Same with an F, I was using an F3 until a few years ago. I could cover the acres, it just got difficult trying to empty the hopper so often.
