Subject: RE: Continuous Soybeans

central ohio
I just planted the fifth year of continuous beans last year. I planted non treated beans and got along fine. Every year but last year I used fungicide and insecticide in a late post spray. Rain was my only limiting factor in my opinion. We have guys a couple counties north of us that have planted continuous beans for decades due to flood prone ground. They seem to get along fine.

The only thing I would recommend that I didn’t do was to plant covers. Without the corn in the rotation, I started getting more erosion.
