Looking for ideas, opinions or advice for getting a disk home, it's a 637 jd 37'10" disk. Need to get it from Worthington, Mn 222 miles NE to the Pierz, mn area. It has a harrow on the back and just folded up sitting on the ground is 15'7" tall. What should I do? Raised all the way up is probably 17-18' tall, not alot of weight on the tongue either. Sounds like a stressful ride pulling it home and hope not to hit anything. I've been thinking about pulling the gangs off the wings with the 4 bolts or whatever bolts it to the green frame and pull the pin where it pivots on the bottom, pull the outside harrow sections, basically be just the green mainframe wings sticking up and be under height and then pull it home with a one ton pick up and haul the gangs.....what you guys think? How tall are power lines supposed to be? Thanks

Any unmarked overhang should be 14’. 13’ 6” is as high as I care without checking. I talked to guys hauling wind turbines. The lead has a 16’ pole to make sure everything would clear. 18’?? I would have to put couple poles to check height on way there. (After checking state heights on those roads). Good luck.
Check with local farm equipment places. If they would pull that tall.
