| I once pulled a tall soil finisher 250 miles home. I would not do it again, I had PTSD when going under low lines for weeks afterwards! Take as much off of the disk as possible to shorten it. A one ton dually should work, as long as you have weight on the hitch.
Drive slow, take more than one spare tire, and an extra hub and bearings is also a good idea. Grease the bearings before you leave out.
I also strongly advise getting a “hot stick” to lift up sagging lines where needed. I used it many times on that trip. | |
