April is early for us to put beans in but if the ground is fit the last week  I would personally go.

"Here" we get less aphid pressure, they are busy sucking on the neighbors tender leaves.  We typically have dry Augusts so pod fill can be spotty on May planted beans.  Pod fill late July, early August is better.  Just some small observations.
