Kingston,Mi
I always enjoy watching someone pull all the neighbors strings. When I first worked at the conservation district, we set out to check out some erosion sites for watersheds and other info but not to survey. The wind was blowing about 40 mph with gusts, late March or early April and fall worked ground was swapping locations like mad. Pat will appreciate the location, near Akron Mi. someone was in a field with their 12 row JD 7000 and it was in the ground (was it planting sugar beets or just trolling the neighbors). On the way back that afternoon we saw 3 or 4 other planters rolling in the same wind, but they had dry fertilizer wagons and seed in the field. One of those fields was directly east of Section 16 Almer TWP.
