Most lenders require insurance so affordability is almost a moot point.
“Big farmers” get blamed for taking all the land and I’m sure that’s the case in some cases but not all.
A younger farmer friend of mine asked me how I had people calling me with land to rent. I told him when you rent a lot of land you’ll rent a lot of land.
