39.48, -82.98 | I hadn't heard of sugar cane syrup. Wonder how it and maple syrup compare in flavor? Unless there are other flavorants involved, you're mostly just concentrating and slightly caramelizing sugars.
That's the kind of evaporator pan that I have seen used to turn out molasses. There was a demonstration every year at Ohio's Farm Science Review. Much larger than the pans I see advertised online for maple syrup. | |
