south central IOWA | I have a couple thermostats that have 3 different settings. One setting is a combination of air or floor temp. Whichever is calling it'll warm it to the setpoint.
I soon found out having it on that setting, the boiler runs much too often because of the air temp calling for heat. The floor never had a chance to cool off enough to call for heat. I keep them on the floor sensor only now. Boiler runs half as much.
