Chilliwack, British Columbia | Here's my last statement on the matter, unless you ask me something directly. "GRIN"
Buddy of mine, milks 35 cows in a double 8, takes 1.5 hours, just the milking shift. I milk 150 in a double 10, just the milking shift, 3hrs. Milking just takes time. You want to spend 4hrs/day doing milking and calves? Robots, maybe even a calf robot. You want to milk a lot of cows cheap? That's when we can talk parlour. I truly don't believe you can do both in this case. Milking just takes too much time, chasing all the cows around, cleaning the thing, etc.
Good luck either way!
