West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | MN still is a high technology State. I am in no way defending the recent, failed MN technology upgrade roll outs, but, somebody needs to be first. I sure hope other States have learned from MN mistakes if they ever decide to make long over due technology upgrades.
The vast differences, and complexity of individual state statutes makes a one State fits all States decades needed technology upgrades impossible. And politics will always get in the way. The contractor that was awarded the recent MNDRIVE contract, after the failed roll out of the in house built MNLARS system found those facts out the hard way since their very shaky at best rollout in November.
What the private contractor technology salesperson sells a State, is more often than not less than what is delivered, and more expensive. Whose fault is that?
