Know a person who has drain tile in a building. Bedded pack with a concrete feed/scrape lane and then under bedding is gravel and when tile was laid it was laid in a 24inch trench and back filled with wash stone it has a sock over it and he laid it 10 feet apart. It runs to a large buried tank then hauled out with manure spreader. If I build a pack building that's what I'd be doing! It's amazing the amount of liquid he collects and how much dryer the bedding pack stays vs concrete floor. I don't know how well it would work outdoors and if you would be able to run it shallow enough to get surface dry. Also you'd have to collect it some how and when it rains it's going to be a lot.
