Western ND | Hopefully the business for sale is because of retirement and not because of lack of business. I agree with what was previously stated, call and see if the owner would visit about it and his clients. Some guys around our area that have manure custom hauled do it on a biannual basis so that is something to keep in mind. Im not sure how they charge, but by the load within a certain distance rings a bell. Probably an extra charge for pushing up or cleaning out corrals. Most all around here pile their own and its just load and haul. I think it would be a lucrative business but don't be scared to travel out and do some advertising or visiting with some ranchers to build up your customer base. Just remember that a good reputation is everything to alot of these guys, if they have someone they like they will stick with them, but piss them off and you won't work for them again, or their neighbors for that matter. | |
