northeastern Ohio | There are several guys in my area that do custom manure spreading for dairy farms. They move in, agitate, pump and spread. Usually run around the clock until the pit is empty or they get weathered out.
Fairest way to charge is by the hour. But most dairy guys want a flat rate up front estimate before you start. So you will need to do some guesstimating based on how many gallons, distance traveled, tractor speed, agitation time, ect to come up with a figure. Fast tractors and big tankers seem to be the trend to getting the most jobs. | |
