Wow, I am glad I do not have to call some of you for the USDA-NASS surveys if you respond as nasty as some of you sound in this post and other posts on this topic. It seems that it is a badge of courage to be mean and nasty to the enumerators. Granted, the calls may come at a poor time, but why be nasty about it.
I do not care if you complete the survey or not. Just be polite.
Just remember that some of the payments that are paid by the government are calculated from the results of some of these surveys.

I threw my survey away and got a phone call. I politely declined to have his assistance and he kept insisting, sent me another survey.

I don't mind politely declining but that should be the end of it. The government does not need to know my yardage, rent, cash price, vet expenses, owned acres, rented acres, input expenses, seeding rates, cows and bulls on hand, equipment value, labor wages, etc.
