Wow this storm is the gift which Just keeps on giving.

Due to power constraints.. refineries in Texas are shutting down.

Texas gulf coast refineries supply almost 60% of gasoline supplies along the east coast.

Natural Gas supplies have fallen by an estimated 10 bcf/day

It shouldn’t be as long lasting as Katrina but.. almost as bad for now as we’ve seen since then... ??? Granted the damage from hurricanes Katrina and Rita lasted for months.. so.. ??

When the weather breaks we should bounce back.. unless damage.. like freezing pipes.. bursts those expectations. I suspect that the level of power outages coupled with the cold are going to do a lot of damage in the Lone Star state.
