I'm confused, petroleum is going to skyrocket cause its being pushed out and electricity is doing the same cause we are going to use more? OK in all seriousness the Fracking/natural gas boom is the only thing holding electric prices in check imo. I remember when Tallahassee looked foolish replacing their coal plant for NG and then NG went to over 14, cheaper now but what if fracking hadn't flooded the market? World coal use still increasing from what I can find, 510,000 T/day increase year over year just a couple years back maybe 2017-2018? Yes the USA using less coal but we aren't the only high energy country.
