| A few years ago we paid for some machinery storage by first using it for grain storage. When we poured the floor we put the auger in the concrete going to another auger outside. After a couple of years it seemed faster to load out with auger on top of concrete and use skid loader. When we filled once I was surprised how easy the frame on auger bent with free flowing corn. If you don’t have someone else’s wallet it share makes sense for short term storage and basis improvement. | |
