Subject: RE: Ride in the desert

Pittsburg, Kansas
With all the Canadians staying home there looks to be plenty of spots open. The hotel we are staying in partially fills up on the week ends but during the week I bet they are only 20% capacity. Place is like a ghost hotel. Not hard to social distance when we hardly see any people. Last night was the first day I had to share the hot tub with someone for a few minutes.

The only thing I have done remotely similar to this is during my teenage years I rode motorcycles up and down strip pit mine dumps a lot for several years. 175 scrambler Honda to begin with and later a 350SL. I always really enjoyed doing that and did quite a lot of it. Then I married a woman that did not believe in having any fun and I was supposed to be responsible and all that with a kid on the way and sell my motorcycle. Took me 7 years to figure out that was the beginning of a bad deal and get on a motorcycle again. Have not been off riding them since.

Other than that off road riding foray, this is completely foreign to me.
