| Our church has a yearly program at Christmas that provides presents for kids whose families can't afford them, The families, mostly single moms, provide a list of what their kids need. We then buy the items and the parents come in and we wrap the presents together.
We have friends who are missionaries to Chad, Africa and we support them every year. This year we also donated to two pregnancy centers in the general area that offer free ultrasounds and counselling to young ladies considering abortion. Lives are being saved there.
And just yesterday my wife sent a card of thanks and a small gift card to our friends and acquaintances in the medical field. | |
