sounds like my old tranny. One of the 5/6th gears is loose on the shaft. Will need a new gear and countershaft at least. Not an easy rebuild, and you need some special tools to get the twin countershafts back in alignment and kept in time. The service manual does show the special tools, so if you have machining skills, you can make them. Whatever you do, i wish you luck.
