Hi Gordon, I consider myself a " filtering fool ". I filter from the tanker into my storage, back out of storage to tender truck, from tender truck to 4WS cart , and then after the pump on the pressure side under the 4WS cart. The filter under the cart is set up like sparrell mentioned. I shut off the agitation valve under the tank which ups the filter pressure and aim the the hose out in the field and crack the valve, power flushing the filter. I try to steer people away from the ground driven pumps, because they are so limiting. Instead, I like to see ACE hydraulic driven centrifugal pumps with a Raven 440 controlling the flow. Much more versatility. Using this set up, I never have a plugged orfice.
