Subject: RE: Sous vide anyone??

South Central MN
We have one and have used it for pork loin, beef roast, baby back ribs, and chicken. For the ribs, I first put a rub on them and then finished on the grill. The beef roast takes about 24 hours and I also finish that on the grill or stovetop. When I do a beef roast, I save the juices from the bag and make Shepherd's Pie with the leftovers...so good. I use Ziploc freezer bags to cook in. Starbucks Coffee has Sous Vide egg bites that are very good. Maybe I'll try making those this winter.
