What is the magical day to switch from 30” row to 15” row beans?
I presume that mid April beans are ok with 30” rows.
If Beans are planted first on 30” rows what day is advisable to switch to 15” rows?

I think getting beans in the ground is more important than row spacing at any point. If you had a 30” planter available I wouldn’t stop planting on any date I would be slamming beans in the ground. Population will definitely go up as the calendar gets later into May/June. We started beans April 8th this year both 15” and 20”. Variety and rainfall were the only cause of any yield difference.
