E.Central MN | I think the shortages that happened earlier in the year have people scared that it might happen again so they're investing in a supply of food. Given the way our capitalist system works when companies get monopoly power and the govt watchdogs are pressured to look the other way then I can see why people are worried. Its too bad, we can produce all the animals necessary to flood the market and yet the price will probably go sky high because a few greedy processors know they can get away with price gouging. | |
