Gruver Tx
I just attempted it with the precision milo /sugar beet plates. I set the population at 120,000 based on seeds per lb. in the seed mix. I had to run pretty slow due to precision motors maxing out on speed. They sell some 160 cell cereal plates but they might have not planted the sunflowers well. I just took a little cover seed and made sure it wouldn’t fall thru the cells. Later i pulled back thru that field and seeded a winter mix and I needed those 160 cell plates because couldn’t spin meters fast enough. Set it on 140,000 when I needed to drop 400,000. All this has a learning curve for sure.
