Gruver Tx
I was just attempting to do biostrip till with them in the picture with the pivot irrigating them. The holes in the ground were another field drilled with wheat/radish in August on 10” spacing followed by cotton in between 10” cover rows in May. I let them rot down. The biostrip was planted at 50,000 with planter. With wheat usually 1# is plenty with other covers. They can be very aggressive and choke out other species. They lived until January in 2018/19 and got large. We had a hard freeze in 2019 in October and killed them pretty early.
