WC Ind. | Yes, I have gathered the crotchety ole conservative part from your previous posts I have followed. You and I don't agree on much, but I do appreciate your perspective as it is usually based on facts. The current grid is not as connected as we think as market force have become much more in play. My point was that the original electrification was done in such a way that electricity was run to rural homesteads even when it did not make sense to do it cost wise. I need 3 phase run to my bin set-up and it will cost me 15,000 dollars to run it 2.5 miles. That is the kind of cost that would be required to supply the new demands of electric vehicles. I think it will be necessary to do it as we did the interstate system to ever get it done as a choice by all concerned to accomplish it as a society. | |
