I don't know...why not let the MARKET decide if electric vehicles are worth it??? Novel concept for many.

Remember...this is the state that currently has how many acres on fire due to poor forest management??? They've had rolling brown-outs all summer. But ask any activist where the electric is going to come from and they'll tell you...well, the plug in the wall, silly! (I only laugh because I've had that said to me...verbatim)


The federal government owns around 60% of the forest land in California, private ownership is second with the state coming in third. The real problem out west is exactly what climate scientists have been saying for decades, hotter weather, more erratic weather made up of more intense droughts and more intense storms.
