Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines
Tesla is on to something big. The cars are just a small part if what they do. They have 1000 mwh batteries for grid storage in use in Australia.

The cost of these batteries will soon come down and both solar and wind energy saved on the grid. Also, solar with battery storage in homes can lessen grid needs. In fact, they are doing a thing where 1000 homes or so get batteries, and they create thefe own grid working together.

I agree that in trucking and ag, diesel will ruke for several more de decades. But after my research, i believe most of us will have solar panels and an electric vehicle in the next 15 years.

Right now in America you are looking at a 7 year payback on something that should last 25 years.

Here in the Philippines since i am closer to equator and power cost more here, i have a 3 year payback
