East Arkansas | I played a lot of sports in high school and just a little in college...not baseball.
I would bet that for 100 high school male athletes one in one hundred could throw a 80 mph fastball without a lot of training and skill, 90 mph very rare.
I played baseball and the best I ever did was 70’s....these guys throwing 90 plus are freaks of nature and oddly enough you can’t spot them in a crowd...some look like Randy Johnson and some can be short and stocky, strangest thing in sports to me is who can throw hard and who can’t.
