Eastern central Michigan | Need some advice, at a loss here. looking to put a sand point well in with a windmill to power and pump the water. The directions for the point show not to put a check valve in in climates where it may freeze, I am in michigan so, no check valve. when I talked to one windmill manufacturer hes telling me i can not connect the windmill to my 1.5" piping and pup water that i need to have a 6' well casing drilled then drop a pipe in it with a pumping chamber etc. All i want to do is drive the point connected to a 1.5" pipe 20' deep and connect wind power. They did it in the old days i would think it should be easy enough to do now? | |
