We have a really nice old windmill on the one farm, but it was unused for so long the well silted in, its a wet bottom. It was cost prohibitive to make it function again.
Long story short, windmill is a decoration and we have several solar watering setups on that farm, and they run the fencers too. All for less $$$ than fixing the windmill and well
